Overview
B&G Design Studios partnered with the Smeal College of Business at The Pennsylvania State University to art direct and design their existing Penn State Smeal magazine. Together we created a plan to polish the current publication, starting with improving the template framework. B&G successfully achieved this by restructuring the column grids, headlines, subhead treatments, pull quotes, and captions. We focused on designing a format for their feature stories that provided consistency in the headline treatment and gave Smeal a uniquely branded format.
